Rauthuskrithur Farm - Holmabaeir

We got great value for our money at Rauthuskrithur Farm! The cabin was cozy and clean, with a small kitchenette and a spacious bathroom. The location was perfect for experiencing remote Iceland and the staff were friendly and cute.

The food for breakfast could have been improved with more variety.

Our stay at the farm was lovely. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the curtains kept the light out for a peaceful night's sleep. We enjoyed the serene and quiet surroundings, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day. The farm itself was beautiful, with animals and a tower in the hayfields. The cabin had all the amenities we needed, including a good shower and a small kitchenette. The location was remote and perfect for hiking, and not too far from a nearby town for dinner. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful and remote getaway.

I had a fantastic stay at this farm. The cabin was lovely and cozy, equipped with everything I needed. The owners were friendly and their dogs were adorable. The views of the mountains were amazing, and I enjoyed going on a hike up the nearby hill. The beds were comfortable, and the cabin was peaceful and quiet. I also appreciated the nice touches like the books and photos inside. a great experience that I wish had lasted longer.

Always coming back to the same place in Holmabaeir. The staff helped me park on my first stay. It suits me perfectly with everything I need: Free Wi-Fi, Free parking, Electric kettle, Air conditioning. : Hiking, Fishing, Horseback riding, Golf course, Outdoor dining area. Coming back for Christmas!

The cabin was cozy and had all the necessities like a good shower and a small kitchen with a stove and refrigerator. the friendly host made our stay even better. the farm is in a lovely, quiet environment with beautiful sunsets. the wifi signal was strong and the parking was convenient right in front of the cabin.

The access road to the farm was a long and difficult dirt road, which took longer to drive than expected. the accommodation was a bit misleading as it mentioned features that were not actually provided, such as air conditioning and a toaster.

We had the most amazing stay at a charming farm in a beautiful setting. the cabin we stayed in was cozy and surprisingly warm, even in the thick snow outside. It was clean, had good WiFi, and all the necessary amenities for cooking. We loved being greeted by the friendly dogs and cat upon arrival. Feeding the animals was a highlight of our stay, and the host was incredibly welcoming. This farm stay was much more memorable than any fancy hotel we stayed in during our time in Iceland. the short drive to various South coast sites was a bonus. Highly recommend!
